Welcome Pack Campaign Terms & Conditions
“Welcome Pack Campaign”
1. The Campaign
1.1 The Campaign is known as “Welcome Pack” (the campaign)
2. The Campaign Organizer
2.1 The Campaign is being organized and run by VWS (UK) Ltd, trading as ELGA® LabWater Global Operations, whose address is Lane End Industrial Park, High Wycombe, HP14 3BY, United Kingdom is the ‘Campaign Organizer’. ELGA® is a registered Community Trade Mark of –VWS (UK) Ltd.
3. The Campaign Prize
3.1 The Campaign Prize consists of individual prizes, each being a USD $5 Amazon e-gift card for the US, or a CAD Amazon e-gift card for the USD equivalent for Canada.
4. Eligibility to enter and participate in the Campaign
4.1 Subject to clauses 10.9 to 10.13 inclusive, the Campaign is open to residents in the United States of America or Canada in which the Campaign Organizer or any related or subsidiary company operates who enter the Campaign once, using only their own name and a single valid contact address.
4.2 The following persons are ineligible to enter or participate in the Campaign:
Permanent and/or contract employees of VWS (UK) Ltd (including its subsidiaries and related companies) and their immediate family members (spouses, children and parents); and /or
Representatives, agents (including advertising) of VWS (UK) Ltd, trading as ELGA® LabWater and their immediate family members (spouses, children and parents); and
Persons below the age of 18 years old.
5.1 Persons who enter or attempt to enter the Campaign:
more than once; or
using a name other than their own, or otherwise using a false or fictitious name, or
using multiple contact addresses;
will only receive a gift card once if in fact one of the entries is valid.
6. Eligibility to receive a Campaign Prize
6.1 A person will be eligible to receive one of the Campaign Prizes (a $5 gift card), if that person fully and correctly completes all fields of the online Warranty Card or prepaid card, including a valid product serial number, and submits their duly completed online form provided as part of the Campaign, in accordance with the online instructions provided by the Campaign Organizer for completion and submission of the form and participation in the Campaign, and their duly completed Warranty Card is received at the Campaign Organizer’s website.
6.2 To qualify, the person must first purchase an ELGA LabWater purification system.
6.3 A valid product serial number will be needed to redeem your Campaign Prize.
6.4 A person will not otherwise be eligible to receive one of the Campaign Prizes.
7. Questions and Clarification of the Campaign process
7.1 All questions or requests for clarification regarding how to enter and participate in the Campaign or a person’s eligibility to receive a Campaign Prize must be directed by email to:

8. The Campaign Period
8.1 The Campaign commences at midnight on January 1, 2016 and is ongoing. (“Campaign Period”).
8.2 The Campaign Organizer has the right in its sole and absolute discretion at any time to change, by notification on its website, the duration and/or the commencement and/or expiry dates of the Campaign Period.
9. Notification of eligible Campaign Prize recipients and delivery of Campaign Prizes
9.1 Eligible recipients of Campaign Prizes will be notified via Amazon automatic email after the gift card is purchased.
9.2 The Campaign Organizer will make arrangements for delivery by email to each notified eligible Campaign Prize recipient to the email address and to the person named in the eligible recipient’s Campaign Contact Form entry.
9.3 Delivery of the Campaign Prize to that named person at that email address by the means or method specified in clause 9.2 will constitute a full and complete discharge of all and any legal obligations which the Campaign Organizer may have to the eligible recipient in respect of the Campaign Prize to which they are entitled.
10. Further miscellaneous terms and conditions
10.2 Discretion to reject participants: The Campaign Organizer may at its sole and absolute discretion reject any participants who do not comply with the terms and conditions of the Campaign.
10.3 Reservation of right to change, amend, & vary mechanics of Campaign: The Campaign Organizer reserves the right to change, amend, and/or vary the mechanics of the Campaign and/or the conditions pertaining to the Campaign at its sole and absolute discretion, subject to prior notice being given to:
participants who have already entered, by notification to their email address as provided in the online Contact Form; and
other potential participants, by notification of the change on the Campaign Organiser website.
10.4 Reservation of right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Campaign: The Campaign Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel this Campaign in the event that it becomes unable or unwilling to run the Campaign as planned due to any issues arising regarding compliance with local country laws in which the Campaign is promoted or run, or technical difficulties, interference, or corruption of the Campaign mechanics, including but not limited to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Campaign Organizer.
10.5 No responsibility for damage, loss, liability, injury, or disappointment: The Campaign Organizer takes no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by any participant as a result of entering the Campaign or accepting any Campaign Prize. The Campaign Organizer further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to any participant’s or any other person's computer, laptop, mobile phone, or other communications equipment relating to, or resulting from their participation in or downloading of any electronic documents or materials in connection with the Campaign.
10.6 Terms & Conditions take precedence: These Terms and Conditions prevail over any other provisions contained in any other promotional materials or advertising that is released by or on behalf of the Campaign Organizer or any other person in respect of the Campaign.
10.7 Participants agreed to, and to be bound by Terms and Conditions: By participating in the Campaign, each eligible participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions, and further agrees that all decisions made by the Campaign Organizer relating in any way to the Campaign, the Campaign Prizes, the interpretation and application of these Terms and Conditions are final and legally binding on them. Participants agree that their information may be used for marketing purposes, including but not limited to eblasts, from which the participants may unsubscribe at any time.
10.8 Participant representations, warranties, and acknowledgements: By participating in the Campaign, each eligible participant:
represents and warrants that they are permitted to do so, and to submit such personal data and other information as is requested in the online Contact Form, and provided by them when submitting the online Contact Form; and
acknowledges and agrees that all personal data and other information submitted by eligible recipients in Contact Forms relating to themselves or any other person as part of the Campaign mechanism will be held and used by the Campaign Organizer in accordance with its Privacy and Personal Data Collection Policies as set out on its website.
10.9 Compliance with local country laws: It is the intention of the Campaign Organizer to comply with all local country laws in which the Campaign is promoted and run, and from which eligible participants may enter the Campaign by completing and submitting Warranty Cards, either online or by mail, providing personal and other information, and receiving Campaign Prizes.
10.10 No offer made to local participants if Campaign would be invalid or illegal: If, for any reason, the invitation to participate in the Campaign, or any aspect of the running of the Campaign in any particular country would be illegal, or prevent an otherwise eligible participant from entering or participating in the Campaign or receiving a Campaign Prize, then no such invitation to enter or participate in the Campaign is made. It is the sole responsibility of each otherwise eligible participant before accepting any invitation to enter or participate in the Campaign to satisfy themselves that by doing so, neither they nor the Campaign Organizer will be engaging in any illegal act, or other non-compliance with local laws, which will or may render either or both of them liable to prosecution or other civil court or enforcement agency action.
10.11 Campaign and Terms & Conditions deemed ineffective and inoperative: If, and to the extent that these Terms and Conditions, or any activities in connection with the running of the Campaign would result in the Campaign Organizer being in breach of, or otherwise infringing or otherwise not complying with, any local country laws, then any such Terms or Conditions or activities are deemed not to operate in that country and to have no legal or operative effect or validity so as not to breach, infringe or otherwise fail to comply with the applicable local law(s).
10.12 Severable nature and severability of provisions: Each and every provision of these Terms and Conditions must, unless the context otherwise necessarily requires it, be read and construed as a separate and severable provision, or as separate and severable parts thereof, so that if any provision, or part thereof, is void or otherwise unenforceable for any reason, then that provision, or part thereof, as the case may be, must be severed and the remainder must be read and construed as if the severable provision, or part thereof, had never existed.
10.13 Governing law and jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions, and the conduct of the Campaign by the Campaign Organizer are governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the United States and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the American Courts.
